Taste the Rainbow for Better Health

I keep hearing more and more people saying they\’re cutting carbs/sugar/etc for health reasons. The truth is: being scared to eat a sweet potato or a piece of fruit because you\’re worried about one of its constituents is NOT healthy, and your body and mind will suffer.
The best way toward health is to get to know your own body, what it needs and what it rejects, and work from there – eating as many whole foods as possible, enjoying a diverse range of colours and tastes and textures (as these all signify different nutritional profiles).
Rainbow salads, smoothies and soups are a good place to start; choosing one fruit or vegetable of each colour and putting them together. Or, create a little colour chart and tick each colour fruit or vegetable you\’ve eaten that day.
