Genetics & Mental Health

In 2014, I stuided genetics with Dr Ben Lynch in MTHFR and Methylation. Ongoing nutrigenomics and epigenetics training has deepened my understanding of how diet, nutrition, lifestyle and environment affect our genes, plus how genes affect our health. Knowing how our genetics can influence our mental health, can help target treatment.

Effective Results

Research supports the use of mind-body therapies to improve mental health.

I offer a wide selection of mind-body therapies, neurofeedback, emotional healing and nervous system regulation to relieve symptoms, support change and whole-body recovery.

Neurofeedback enhances brain function by training the brain to return to normal (better, calmer) functioning. In this state neurofeedback helps reduce ADHD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress, fatigue, poor cognition, focus and memory. With most mental health issues, the brain just needs a little extra help learning how to calm, self-regulate and work better, which neurofeedback provides.
